Three main goals: – to restore the area and maintain the open area by extensive grazing. – to develop the area for public and school visits with education program on environment and sustainable development. – to communicate about the role of the Municipality and the hunters for wetlands. Some hydraulic and biodiversity studies have been conducted followed by the creation of a management plan. Some construction works have been planned: Implementation of a winnowing for water supply; Cleaning and reconnection of existing water bodies; Plantation 600 m hedge. Installation of fencing and barriers; Introduction of animal herd: 2 cattle and 1 horse Camargue Scotland; Creation and maintenance of 1200 m nature trail; Construction of three observatories; Construction of a wood deck 200 m; Realization of a signage system. Employement of a manager who, as a first task, would develop a ringing program for woodcock (Scolopax rusticola).
