The population of the Rose/ringed parakeet is increasing exponentially in Oise. This non-native species competes with local species and can also cause significant damage to fruit trees.

The Fédération des chasseurs de l’Oise conducted a survey to assess the spatial distribution of the species and assess its numbers. In view of the results, the species colonized a large part of the observatory area.

Continuous monitoring on the species is ongoing. Results of the monitoring are given to the Federation.
