The first phase of the project concern about the monitoring of wolf (number and position of packs) by camera trapping. Hunters install, activate and move the camera traps according to a monitoring plan based on square-shaped cells (4 x 4 km). All the territory is covered by cells; hunters move the camera traps from one cell to another every two weeks. The second phase of the project will focus on the dissemination of good practice in wolf monitoring and prevention of damage to livestock.
