Hunters and land/water owners make nest tubes for migratory water birds. Nesting tubes are being placed to known nesting habitats. I personally have been giving lectures of the benefits using lifted structures designed to waterfowl. We have also practiced making tubes to take along for copying and placing to water. I am the host of Facebook group called Sorsanpesäntekijät in Finnish. English title would be duck nest makers. The group has now some 1 600 members.
