This 185-hectare hunting reserve is managed by the Fédération des chasseurs de la Manche in partnership with the Communauté de communes du canton de Lessay and the Association de chasse maritime de la côte ouest du Cotentin.
A 2 ha lake has been developed and attracts many species of waterbirds. As part of the ornithological monitoring of the sites managed by the Federation, monthly counts are carried out by the technical service. In 2004/2005 and 2007/2008, major work was undertaken to improve the reception of birds and visitors in the reserve.
The site is designed to welcome the public with the construction of an educational trail and observation windows.
