Participation in the Natura 2000 network of the Marne

ONCFS and the LPO has been involved in the consultation with the owners of ponds of the Natura 2000 sites.

Field visits aimed to make recommendations to the managers of these areas, while informing them of the financial measures (Natura 2000 contract) that can be used as part of the work carried out to preserve habitats and species.

Since 2018, the Federation has been managing the Natura 2000 site in the Marshes of Saint Gond. Its objective is to mobilize the stakeholders of this territory, particularly hunters, in order to raise their awareness of ecological issues and contribute to its preservation.
