Tern-nesting islets on waterbodies in the Loiret

The Loiret Association of Migratory Bird Hunters, in partnership with the Hunters Federation of Loiret is at the origin of the installation of floating islets on the water bodies along the Loire.

The purpose of these developments is to create new nesting and resting sites for migratory birds, particularly terns. Made out of eco-friendly materials, the 7 islets will also serve as protection for fish species.
