Vendée Hunting Federation, with the French regional government coordination, is in charge for 6 years (2015-2020) of the national animation of the Black-tailed Godwit National Management Plan. A National Managment Plan was established by a group of scientific experts mandated by the Ecology ministry and coordinated by ONCFS (National Office for Hunting and Wildlife).
During the first year of the Plan, action-fiches were developed by another group composed by specialists and institutional representatives to implement it. The sucess of the Plan will need the implication of all conservationist actors, including hunters.
