Hunters (who can be landowners) help landowners to connect 32 km of hedgerow and woodland habitat and to manage it in favourable conditions to allow dormice and other species to move in response of the climate change. They also check the dormouse boxes for evidence of summer/autumn nests (whilst the mice themselves are asleep in leaf little over winter).
