conserve habitats of migratory species to contribute to biodiversity preservation cleaning of debris and other items; pruning of trees as and when necessary; planting of new trees and providing the supply of water so lacking in the Maltese islands, so that these trees can flourish; etc., to attract more migratory huntable species (Malta has no resident huntable species). In the whole area, about 40 hunters own or lease vast areas where they take birds.
Over the years these have indirectly contributed towards biodiversity in these areas, by cleaning of debris and other items; pruning of trees as and when necessary; planting of new trees and providing the supply of water so lacking in the Maltese islands, so that these trees can flourish; etc., to attract more migratory huntable species.
